I believe for SOUTHEAST purposes only & excluding states above the Mason Dixon Line, it would have to be Atlanta or Birmingham. It is equidistant somewhat from the Carolinas, tennesse, Florida, Louisianna.

I voted Georgia too, but I hate Atlanta. That is the most awful place to drive I have ever been. But it is only about 3 hours from where I live.
