I have not gone to this link and read yet as I just got it. I plan on reading today. If anyone has read it or is planning on reading it perhaps you have some comments

A quick read-thru validates some of my beliefs that organized religion, and the Catholic Church in particular, have perverted the true teachings of Christ into a means of control and subjugation of people and for consolidation of power.

What this paper lacks, however, is any factual references for his assertions other than Bible quotes.

...Of course, I know I'm not big on "referencing" any of my opinions, but I'm not writing a research paper either.

You must not be reading what I am reading. Not only is he giving facts, but also referencing the cites where those facts can be verified and not just Bible quotes as you have said.

A gentleman by the name of Tupper Saussy has written an excellent expose of the connection of the Vatican to the Crown of England, and subsequently the US, and pretty much everywhere else. The name of the work is Rulers of Evil. Those who appreciate "well referenced" material will thoroughly enjoy the research and detail Saussy put into the work.
