Is this just for info only or do you support this?

Not trying to put anyone on the spot, but a faith did not commit those attrocities--people did. If this is the case, then there should be the same outcry against catholicism and christianity.

This is not to bash a religion or anyone's faith--but this is to challenge a righteous train of thought of equality of administering judgment if this type of judgment is going to be passed.

[Are there any "Christian" stamps out there any more?

Gee... I thought they changed all the "Christian" stuff to "Holiday" stuff and decided to leave "Christ" out of it because of all that "separation" stuff they keep hammering down our throats.

I started this post with a purpose... but got pulled away from it and couldn't get back to it.& I leave you with the below thoughts.]

The question is not "What does Ice support"... nor is it "shouldn't we do something about all the crap that happened 100 or more years in the PAST -- like when we weren't even a gleam in our Pappy's eye?"

Shouldn't the question be one that each of us asks ourselves: "What do I support?"& "What do I believe?"& "What is my faith?"

or maybe even:& "What SHOULD I support?" "HOW should I support it?"

The truth is, Ice has never gone for any of those special stamps... Ice likes plain stuff, mostly because Ice would like the PO to get stuck with all those crappy stamps because they really don't need to spend money on 'em... all they really need to do is supply us with a stinkin' stamp.& It makes me wonder who they think we're trying to impress by using some artsy fartsy stamp... and WHY would anyone care to use a stamp that makes a "statement" of some kind?... and what's with all those Cartoon characters?

Come on folks... get a grip... we're talkin' about a STAMP!& It's only purpose should be as a receipt of postage paid.

And just think how much easier it would be for stamp collectors to only have to get one from every country instead of 365 from each country. And all they gotta do to make them unique is change the background color every now and then!!

Think about all the money that is wasted on the design and printing (and sometimes they do "research"!!)&of such stamps that could be put to better use elsewhere... maybe even get the price of a stamp lowered... which won't happen too soon anyway.

Can we not get back to using common sense and keep all of the "statements" out of it?

And thanks&for your post which has&given me the opportunity to&state that I believe a stamp should be VERY PLAIN and NOT COMMEMORATIVE or one that makes a STATEMENT of any kind...&as well as CHEAP as it could possibly be.

Ice, Point made. Point taken. The only thing that I believe we should support is ourselves. The reason I addressed the post was, to challenge a train of thought. A train of thought that exposes the system for what it is--divisive. The stamp (however insignificant it may be) is just one of the many tools that "they" use to get folks at each others throats. People (including myself) generally want to believe in something that is greater than themselves. BB knows this and plays on it and gets paid from it. It is the people as a whole that come together selflessly to create a being greater than themselves--not BB. BB was created by the body politic (the people) to serve the people and protect its freedoms. But this plan has backfired and the people (some of the people) have accepted a servant role instead of a master role. I know this seems to be going off track, so let me pull it altogether. If we take a closer look at all of this--"they" [BB] do not promote unity in any fashion (none that I can even think of). they cause a situation and then offer a remedy to the situation they created in the first place--all the&while they gain/profit from it at the same time; in the name of freedom and justice of course.

So the purpose of my post was (as is always) to stimulate a thought process and expose their real intentions... To divide and conquer.

So what will Jerseee support? teamwork. What does Jerseee believe in? The Creator and himself. &How does Jerseee live? Off of the blessings that he has gained by doing for others and&what others would do for him.

I agree Ice, the hell with the stamp. Islam has nothing to do with the deaths of our fellow americans.& I suspect that this tradegy was orchestrated within our borders by our own.
