Recently we have received credible intelligence that there have been seven terrorists working in your office.

Re:Just for Fun

Way cool.

You'll like this:

Immediately after "that" date (it simply can't be coincidence that "that" date is the exact same numerical sequence we've been using for years to call in an emergency)....anyway...within a few weeks after "that" date, truck-drivers were put on official "notice" that we were to be the "front-line defense in the war on terrorism." We are "supposed" to report ANYTHING "suspicious."

I've been notifying them for almost five years of the "suspicious activities" of one IRS, but they keep ignoring me. So to hell with 'em....

Re:Just for Fun

Thanks, Y'all, but I am serious, you know. Which is want makes it funny, I know.

You should see and hear how pissed off other drivers get at me. First, we all know how much drivers "hate" "bears," right? Well, here's what will happen:

It'll come over the CB that the cops are in high-speed pursuit of somebody wanted for "allegedly" this-or-that. The cops have asked the big-trucks to set up a "rolling road-block," i.e., help THEM do their jobs.

Happened one night and I was asked to help.

"Screw 'em," I said. "They look for any chance to bust my ass. They represent the damned government, for God's sake. And you're willing to help them catch someone that they simply 'say' has done something wrong! Not me!"

Oh, they got SO mad over that one....

That's what drives me so crazy. One minute, people are complaining about, for example, high taxes. But suggest actually doing something, and these same people go straight for the "I love my country" and "God bless America" and "the government needs the money" routines.

ARGH

I'm picturing Mel Gibson in Mutiny on the Bounty when he screams:

"I AM IN HELL!"

Y'all go have yourselves a big ol' Memorial Day weekend. Them bears were everywhere today!& The states must really need the revenue....
