Employment/Pay problems help?

Story goes like this...

I have an employer. I worked at location A until I was convinced to try a different department so, I was transferred to location B for several weeks of training. At about the 3rd or 4th week into the training, I failed to receive a paycheck. I immediately told managment, who by the way, seemed frantic in words (not actions) about getting me paid. I finally received my paycheck about 2 weeks from the date I should have.

Now, I recently completed my training and transferred back to location A. I received my final check at location B, but did not receive this weeks check from my new location. So, I worked another 8 hour shift today, even though I have yet to receive my check for last week.

I told management last night, and today upon clocking in for my shift. I do not feel the urgency on their part to get this rectified without my hounding them every five minutes. I also do not feel I should have to beg them to pay me for hours worked.

Suggestions?

that actually would have been my next statement...

I am scheduled tomorrow, but am calling out....gonna tell them once I get paid I will come back to work...that brings this question...

If I get fired for calling out because of this situation....can I sue for wrongful termination or does "right to work" in florida come into play?

IMHO I would just let it go. They need to come clean and give you your last paycheck. Relationship OVER. If they owe you money, then sue. I personally would never use any statatory law to get something from an employer. Unemployment compensation, Nota. The agreement is/was that I will do work for you if you pay me to, everything else is just gravy. Folks think that they are entitled to safe working conditions, health care benifits, pensions, 401-k savings matches and such but, like I say in my Opinion I dont want any thing from any body but what I worked for. I can save on my own, I can be aware of my own saftety, and will pay for my own Doc. Benifits=Obligation.
Sucks Dude but find someone honest enough to pay you for your work.
