If you do that a some of the churches I've been to, people may start smiling and waving. The kids may begin to make faces.

In larger churches most people don't know most of the others. They will probobly think nothing of it.

Try it at a movie theater!

I once took pics of a guy walking up and down our street looking suspicious. I drove slowly by him so that he could see I was taking his picture. He became a bit irrate and wanted to know why I was doing that. I never saw him again.

rural

I walk some dogs through a rural setting. I have taken it upon myself by habit when someone's newspapers pile up more than two days to collect them and hide them near the home. One day I found a pimpy looking Hispanic decorated car full of "youths" parked in front of one of these homes with newspapers. I photographed them and they sped off.

I use a flash when I want it to be obvious. One guy was acting (saying to his buddy) like he would use his pointy gloves on whoever had failed to use deodorant before boarding the bus:

I would show his face but after I photographed him he and his friend were silent and refused to make eye contact with me. His shirt says, "SECURITY". That's a laugh!

Regards,

David Merrill.

P.S. These types seem to gather up a groupie/boyfriend to assure them they are real toughguys! (attached)

I think that is just about the best idea I've heard in ages! Anyone near Tacoma Washington....?
