Affidavits are responsive pleadings

i need the case law that states that affidavits are responsive pleadings. i saw that somewhere and cannot remember where.

thanks for helping so far. i KNOW I SAW a case cite on a form somewhere, i think it was one of the forms jason whitney uses, cant remember.
