Hybrid Mutant Discovered in Maine
Found this, not sure if its true or not:
"Unfortunately, passing cars kill wandering animals all the time. But in the case of a community in Turner, Maine, a recent road kill might have been a turn of fortune. An unidentified beast has been terrorizing the residents of Androscoggin County for 15 years. Random sightings and reports of domestic animals mauled to death (including a Doberman pinscher and a Rottweiler) have fueled the local legend.
Over the weekend, an animal found on the side of the road near a resident's yard began causing a stir in the community. Presumably hit by a car, the strange-looking animal is the real-life version of the long-perpetuated myth in the minds of many Turner residents. Residents of nearby towns reported similar sightings of a beast in the woods, as well.
Though the beast lay on the roadside in clear view, no one was sure what it was. When photos of the beast were presented to experts (the remains were devoured by vultures and unrecognizable before they could see it), they determined that the mystery beast probably wasn't anyone's pet. Those who claim to have seen the beast alive and those who saw its carcass describe it as an evil-looking mutant, or in the words of one resident a "hybrid mutant of something."
Some of the beast's features troubled one particular expert, cryptozologist and author, Loren Coleman. The Associated Press reports:
After reviewing photos of the carcass, Coleman said he was bothered by the animal's ears and snout. It reminded him of a case years ago in northern Maine in which an animal shot by a hunter could not be identified.
One hypothesis says the beast was a mixture of a wild dog and coyote, and another classified it as a cross between a wolf and a dog. So far, nobody has analyzed its DNA to test either hypothesis. Is this mystery animal the answer to the myth? Only time will tell."
I copied this, but can't remember where I found it! Anyone from Maine hear about this??

In the bible, Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Noah so it shall be before the comming of the Son of Man", Or something like that. Anyway in Gen.6:4 there are references to a group of giants that lived in the land. They were mighty men of old, men of renown. But since they were demonic in origin (half angelic being, half from the daughters of men) they grew to enormous sizes. Also because of their origin their genolgy was not listed by the writer(many believe it was Moses) as they were not a good addition to the family of humankind. I believe they also messed with the entire animal kingdom, doing all sorts of gentic dna co-mingling(sound familar?) ala tomatoes crossed with salmon the fish dna to make them more resistant to frost or even Dolly the sheep, maybe even all of this stem cell jive????? So this is an interesting story!

probably a animal that escaped from one of the government's secret underground basis where they do hybrid experimentation with extraterristrials. a few years back, the government was mixing sharks with other animals in a underground base in macon georgia (the main roadway to the facility was coded as GREY road), anyway, these beings were transported to puerto rico. some of them escaped and tried to make it back "home". these beings were called the cucabraqa,(i know my spelling is wrong). anyway, these hybrids exist, particularly at the dulce base in new mexico.

In the end, wildlife officials got a DNA analysis that showed the animal was a rare wolf-dog hybrid, he said.

judging from the pictures, it may be just that, a dog mixed with a wolf, but can they cross specie like that?

I'm pretty sure you can since most dogs descended from wolves I believe.. I have a German Shepherd who's part wolf. She's a pretty dog but she's very wild. Looks like a dog of some sort to me.
