Medical Mal? or other?

My plight starts when I went to get a stress test as my doctor thought at my age I needed to get one (early 40s). I had the test done and was told my cholesterol and triglycerides were high and that I should exercise, quit smoking, and take 4000mg of fish oil a day or a medication called Lovaza. The doctor then ordered me to go to another one of their offices to have more testing done and a nuclear stress test, an ABI (ankle brachicardia index), and a heart sonogram. I was then immediately told that I should have another test done on my legs and that I needed to come back the very next day. I did so and was told I had 50%-80% blockage in my left leg. Needless to say, yes my legs were bothering me by now after all the minipulating and walking and moving in all sorts of positions. I was then called the next day and told that I was to be set with an appointment with another doctor and when called for that appointment again I was told about the blockages. Meanwhile I am very anxietal and do take medication for this. I met with this particular doctor who gave me yet another EKG and felt my ankle pressure, knee pressure and groin pressures and stated, there is a huge drop in pressure between your left and right leg (worst being the left). He said then he was setting me for an appointment to go to the hospital for a peripheral angiography which included putting 2 stents in my leg and possibly one in my stomach area prior to the branching of the common iliac. He asked me if there was anything he needed to know about me and I exclaimed yes, I have high anxiety and am scared to death. He gave me my paperwork and told me to see the appointment desk. The surgery was set for March 19, this past week. I went into the hospital and ws told the doctor would give me anesthetic which would put me into a twightlight and then he would numb my leg...well my leg was never numb until it was just about over with and believe me it was painful but the doctor didn't care he just kept on...finding nothing wrong and complaining about it. He then basically threw me out of the operating room and said to me that he didn't know why he couldn't find anything and to come see him in two weeks and he would decide what else he would do. I'm fearful of these offices now and am still having burning and weakness in my legs which I didn't have prior to this procedure. I spoke with one lawyer and he said just write them a letter asking them to write off any charges, copays, etc. that I had incurred that there was no damage done that he was hearing. I'm still not so certain of that as I stated I still have burning and weakness. Any advice would be more than welcome at this point. Thank you and Happy Easter all!

The doctor should've quit after telling you to quit smoking, work out and take fish oil! That is actually a good idea.

Livefire is right on. Ignore all those talking doctors.

Start with a 3 day fast, vegetable and fruit only, and lots of water.

Enema twice a day.

Then sign up for a good kung fu class, or tai chi. Not a fake one at the "Y", a real one.

No more:

white flour and sugar

processed food

heavy fried anything

meat, especially pork and shellfish

artificial anything, smoking, alcohol, coffee

one meal a day somewhere between after 11am to about 5 pm

after dark, only raw food.
-------------------------------------

eat lots of raw food and organic natural whole stuff. Raw milk, herbal teas, get a juicer. Lots of spice, garlic onion etc

steel cut irish oats a must! grade a maple syrup

Some alcohol is good, just like some coffee, everything in moderation. But at first all these habits and addictions must be broken.

You need a full organ cleanse, starting with the bowels. You are constipated, I am quite sure, and there is impacted fecal matter that lines the gut and poisons the body, and stops nutrition.

Check this site out: www.blessedherbs.com and click on "photo testimonials", or click here:

(its not my site, I just like them. There are others as well, do a google for "dr shulze intestinal formula")

See the crap that we keep inside from years of bad health. It must be removed first, it is the source of 80% of the problem.

The problem, you see, is that most of us are full of $hit.

expert opinions

DR BERNARD JENSEN:

“the heavy mucus coating in the colon thickens and
becomes a host of putrefaction. The blood capillaries
to the colon begin to pick up the toxins, poisons and
noxious debris as it seeps through the bowel wall. All
tissues and organs of the body are now taking on toxic
substances. Here is the beginning of true Autointoxication on a physiological level. This accumulation can have the consistency of truck tire rubber. It’s that hard and black.”

DR RICHARD ANDERSON:

“I have always attempted to make it clear that the
‘Mucoid Plaque’ found in the bowel is not equivalent
to the natural healthy gastric and intestinal mucosa.
The natural mucosa serves as a necessary buffer for the
gastro-intestinal wall and as a lubricant for intestinal
motility. ‘Mucoid plaque’ of any description is
un-natural and is found only after the body has moved
towards diseased states. Medical science has many
words to describe each of these conditions, but to
my knowledge, there are no effective terms that
describe them under one category.”

Smile I appreciate...

Thank you for all the health-related advice however, I am wanting to know if there is any legal recourse or at least how to write the letter for the offices to write-off my charges and co-pays due to thier "Mistake". Thanks all!

Practice..

Doctors "practice medicine" ... basically they don't know what the %#@! they are doing... but they have a license from the state that says they can gamble with your health.

About 10 years back my wife had some routine tests done and they claimed one of her kidneys was failing and needed to be removed. We got 3 opinions from referred urioligists that claimed the same thing.. then a 4th opinion from a neprhologist that we reasearched and he was horrified that the other 3 docs would even suggest such a thing based on his findings.

We still had to co-pay for all the visits for the bad advice... it's a scam. Any time a doc tells you that something is wrong with you ... use the internet and learn as much as you can about what they claim and make informed decisions about your own body... docs are crackpot, licensed drug dealers.

Herbal health and natural foods are the way to go. As far as my wife goes.. she recently had a kidney function test done by another neproloigist to benchmark the test that was done 10 years ago... and lo and behold it had improved.

I went to a Chinese accupuncture doc once and he told me that western docs don't like to cure people.. only treat symptoms. One visit to him @ $35 cured a back problem that was being treated for over 2 years .. due to an auto accident and covered under insurance. So I guess he had a good point.. over $40K and 2 years to western medicine to treat my symptoms and $35 and an hour to cure it by eastern doc.

Try a few ambulance chaser attorneys that give free consultations and maybe you will find one to file a case on consignment. Other than that a letter would most likely fall on deaf ears and to hire an attorney to take the suit it would potentially cost more than the bill. (You would still have to pay if you loose.. another scam job) If an ambulance chaser feels you have a good case.. they will take it and split the winnings as their only fee.
