Intelligence Community Legal Reference Book Fall 2007

I did notice that the homeland security act and the patriot act, according to the footnote, are only represented by "selected" elements of the document(s). Were they attempting to hide something, or are those 'selected' portions only what is allowable in the true sense?

Just picked it up today...

But I will look into it presuming that the Intelligence Community only has specific needs and functions and the Acts covered by the asterist have been abridged for Intelligence Community use. It is a Reference Book and that would mean it is not comprehensive.

But you can get the entire Acts from the Statutes at Large. As best I recall, there are no hidden portions of those Acts. What you can probably do is find a part in the entire act and ask me if it was provided in this reference book?
