Business Week is carrying a story that discusses several cell-phone tracking services available in Korea. According to the article, more than four million (yes, that's 4,000,000) people have signed up for services that can determine and track a cellular subscriber's location.

Cellphones can be tracked down to the meter in America. Also, some cellphones are equipped with a 'feature' that tells the tower how it lost power (i.e. powered off, battery removed, battery died).

Some cellphones are capable of being tapped without ringing and used as remote bugging devices.
