Thats why gun control needs to eliminated....If everyone is packin', there'd be far less trouble with those types...bystanders would shoot 'em dead on the spot!
2 weeks ago I lost an acquaintance of mine, he was closing up his restaurant and 2 punks came in to rob the place. He and his 2 employees got out, but when he realized that a young woman in his employ was still inside. This 64yr old man went back in to confront the thugs and struggled with one of them taking 2 slugs as a result. He died shortly thereafter in the ER. Fortunately, the young lady was able to get out safely. Dont tell me to leave it to the cops and courts...they are useless pieces of crap for the most part. Had my friend been packing, things wouldve probably been far different. Needless to say, he defined the word hero!!
We need to reestablish our soveriegn right to open carry and defend ourselves!

I will say amen to that LiveFire.. just the mere presence of a gun on a persons side, as it is with the cops, is sufficient to dissuade most all of the perpetrators.

One thing that bothers me in life is a flat tire. you never know when you will have one, you just know that, sometime it's going to happen. I always have a spare tire and a jack with me. I just never look forward to having to use them.

Sorry for you friend Livefire..
I have a old friend, now retired, who used to be a state police officer here. He claimed that the police are nothing but maids ! According to him, it's an extremely rare moment, when officers show up while a crime is in progress, and that they generally only arrive after the fact, to clean up the mess.
For HIS Glory,
Akira

He is in a better place, its his family I feel for....and the city of Detroit. The guy was a pillar in the community. He was a self made restauranteur, started cooking ribs in a 55 gallon drum grill on a street corner, finally opened a sit down restaurant that was considered one of the best rib eateries in Detroit. Was renowned for taking troubled teens under his wing and giving them jobs and teaching life and business skills. Mayor Kilpatrick and some of the city council showed up at the funeral promising to take action to make the streets safe. Funny thing is, that a few days ago there was a shoot out between cops and gang and the bangers put a few of the coppers in the hospital! So much for that initiative!
