The Reason Why You Praise God!

Good Morning,

On this day, August 26, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Thursday! How are you doing this morning? It's a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever wondered how you could have peace when everything around you was chaotic? You were able to sleep knowing confusion was surrounding you (1 Corinthians 14:33). Have you ever wondered why God continues to forgive you even though you continue to make mistakes (Romans 3:23)? Each time you fall, He is there to pick you up again (Proverbs 24:16). Have you ever wondered why God sent His only Son to bear the Cross of Calvary (Romans 5:8)? Knowing all the wrong we committed, He still sent His Son to redeem mankind (John 3:16). So often in our lives, we spend much of our time involved in activities that praise man but little t! ime praising God. We join clubs and organizations that look wonderful on our résumé. We walk upright as though we achieved it all on our own. We surround ourselves with people who "toot" our horn. Have you ever been there? Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. My friend, no matter what the press reports about you, if it had not been for the Lord on your side the enemy would have destroyed you (Psalms 124:1-2). Yes there will come times when people applaud you. But there will also come a time when the same people will scorn you. It is important for you to understand the reason why people praise you and The Reason Why You Praise God! People praise you for what you have done for them, but we praise God for what He has done for us. Man's praise is conditional but God's praise is mandatory. The Bible declares in Psalms 150:6 - Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. The blessings you enjoy today is a direct result of the God we serve. When your family and friends could not help, it was the Lord! who made a way. When you stopped believing in yourself, it was the Lord who restored and encouraged you. The Reason Why You Praise God, is because He has been good.

My brother, my sister, what are you faced with today? What dilemma stands in your path? What wall, in your life, do you need to fall? There is power in your ability to praise the Lord in spite of what you hear or see. The Bible declares in Psalms 34:1 - I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Your praise is continual. Your praise is not circumstantial but eternal. The Reason Why You Praise God, is because He deserves it. Beloved, we worship the Lord for who He is, but we praise Him for all He has done. Have you stopped, in the midst of your busy day, to give God praise for all He has done on your behalf? The Bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Dear friend, you can! not wait until you see the manifestation. You must praise during your waiting period (it shows God how much you believe in Him). Prayer for Today: Father, today I stop whatever I am doing at this time and I give you total praise. You have been good to me and my family. I appreciate you Lord. Thank you, in Jesus' name ... Amen!

Gregtu,

One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 3: 5, 6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

The above goes in line with Psalm 28:7. He is our strength and our shield. When He is on our side who can harm us? He is worthy of our trust. That is something to rejoice about. He deserves our praise and our worship, indeed.
