Hold Your Position!
Good Morning,
On this day, November 9, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Thursday! How are you doing this morning? It's a wonderful day to be a child of God. What are you worried about? Who are you worried about? Have you spent your entire week worrying about something or someone? Has worrying helped the situation? Have you found yourself weary, wounded and sad? Are you tired of being tired? Has your hope diminished? Do you still believe a change is going to come? Has your job ruined your Thursday morning? Do you hate your job? Did you contemplate staying home this morning? Are you on the receiving end of gossip and lies? Has your character been scrutinized. Does any of these questions relate to you? Do you know someone who can relate?
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. Each day we find ourselves with a head full of questions and concerns. We find ourselves worried about yesterday or tomorrow, never enjoying the current moment. God understands all you have endured. He knows how awful your office atmosphere can be at times. There are no secrets hidden from God. My friend, Hold Your Position! So often we want God to move us instantly. You have faced a little rain and now you are ready to uproot and move on. Have you ever thought that maybe God has you where you are for a reason? The Bible declares in Ecclesiastes 3:1 - To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: You must not run from every dilemma you face. You cannot become doubtful. God knows what He is doing in your life. Do you not know, the finest jewelry must endure a burning and refining process? It must experience the heat from the fire. The Bible declares in Malachi 3:3 - And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.
My brother, my sister, Hold Your Position! You cannot become anxious for anything (Philippians 4:6). The enemy wants you to make hasty decisions. When you get upset, he knows you react before you think. It is a trap. The Bible declares in 2 Chronicles 20:17 - Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, ... You cannot move too soon. Do not get ahead of God. Just as in football, if you jump out of position to soon, you will be considered off-sides. As a result, you receive a penalty. Hold Your Position! If you are certain that the Lord placed you there, then you must stay there. God will tell you when its time to move. Thought to Remember: Hold Your Position! God will make your enemies your footstool.
Scripture Reading for the Day: Ephesians 6:13-14
May God Bless you at Your point of need!
To God Be The Glory!!
