The Sacrifice of Praise
Good Morning,
On this day, December 12, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Tuesday! How are you doing this morning? It's a wonderful day to be a child of God. So often in our lives, we find ourselves enduring problems we tried to avoid. We experience rejection from people we held in high regard. Have you ever been judged because you were too "faithful?" People questioned if you were really sincere or just playing around. Have you ever had people bless you and curse you with the same mouth? They spoke great things about you but when your back was turned they attempted to curse your name. Have you ever asked God why? So much was happening in your life that you did not understand. Have you ever had your family and friends turn their back on you? Your willingness to do whatever the Lord said was not accepted by everyone.
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. So much turmoil and confusion surrounding you. So many lies and rumors being spread about you. My friend, when everything seems unreal to you, can you still offer God The Sacrifice of Praise? If everything you worked hard to get was taken away from you, could you still offer God The Sacrifice of Praise? If the people you loved stopped loving you, could you still offer God The Sacrifice of Praise? The Bible declares in Hebrews 13:15 - By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name. It is important for each of us to understand that in spite of all we may gain or lose in life, God is still worthy of the praise. Many times we fail to realize the faithfulness of God. If God prevented you from getting anything, it was for your good. Apparently, whatever it was could have hindered you. The Bible declares in Psalms 84:11 - For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.
My brother, my sister, what are you faced with today? Have you walked away from the church because something or someone hurt you? Have you given the victory to the enemy? When things in your life become uncomfortable, you must learn to offer God The Sacrifice of Praise. Praise will allow you to celebrate in the face of your enemies. It will allow you to focus in on God and not the things coming against you. The Bible declares in 2 Samuel 22:4 - I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. Your praise is a weapon against the enemy. If you can look beyond the natural and focus on the spiritual, you will understand there is nothing too hard for God (Genesis 18:14). The Bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Challenge for the Day: When attacks come against you, offer unto God the The Sacrifice of Praise.
