And who would even think that there would even be "pastors" or "clergy" going far out of their way to get folks to pay little attention to these things--yeah thats cos some of those so-called clergy knowingly have as their main purpose to mislead you even if it just means making you focus on a narrow slice--but as long as you dont come into full comprehension or full knowledge they are happy.

Perhaps the most scathing rebuke ever given by Jesus when He walked this earth was in Matthew 23 as He addressed the Jewish scribes and Pharisees (
the following scriptures are "X-Rated", and not for child consumption and may be offensive to some so don't read if you don't think you can handle it.):
Matthew 23:13 - 39 (KJV) 13
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. 14
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. 15

This rebuke was delivered to the religious leaders of the nation of Israel, the elders of that time and is why the judgments of God fell upon them and still remains. It was the fault of those who were anointed and led, not to the ordinary citizen. Those who would lead others, will be punished more severely for their transgressions, God says. Sadly, what happened with Israel is the same thing today. Anyone who considers themselves to be a church leader should take great heed in how they lead their "flock" as their is a great responsibility that they have (which is why I have a great respect for those religious leaders who lead with honesty and truth) lest they fall into the same category. Sadly, we have many of the same types of leaders in todays churches. God does not take this sort of thing lightly as we can see in the above verses.
