passion of the christ
a friend of mine had me watch the movie last night. its the first time i saw it and it verified why i paid no attention to it in the first place. why didnt mel gibson do ANY teaching in the movie? the movie was all about Jesus getting a beat down and people blew this movie all up like they did? the reason why, look at the banner sui juris has on this website with the man with his head in the sand. its sad that in this day and time the movie industry can still prove they have people's minds under a spell. what did this movie bring to the table that made anybody think about anything other than "man, what great dramatic cinema." its propaganda llike the judge shows on tv where they have the people's minds controlled. a lot of people again will get mad at me for touching on the truth with relgion, but come on, we are here to learn. and that movie presented NOTHING in the form of raising the mindsets of ignorant people. Jesus got beat down for 2 whole hours, whining and crying, Mary looking crazy and dumbfounded, gay looking men running around with makeup and eyeliner spitting on him and laughing a just , what was the big deal about this whole affair?

religion aside... I think the movie shows how things really happened in those times. Most people don't realize what Jesus went through or how brutal it was. It's an eye opener to most people, I'm sure. It also shows how much brainwashing the powers that be will do to people, getting a death sentence for an innocent Man and freeing a murderer! Sounds like what happens nowadays too!
Just my opinion...

Did you see when Jesus went before Pilate? Did you hear what he said? Did you understand that Pilate would not charge him with a crime? DId you hear Pilate say, '' I wash my hands clean of this situation?" Did you see how Pilate asked others what to do with Jesus?
Jesus did not give pilate the jurisdiction he was looking for, so Pilate could not move against him. He asked Jesus, " are you the king of the Jews" and Jesus said, "thou saiest I am." Pilate knew at this point that he could not rule rule against flesh and blood.
Did you hear Jesus say he was taking the beating so that you and I will have life?

Jesus took a beating so that u and i could have life? Jesus is a made up story. like ive stated in the thread moorish ancestry of america, the roman catholic church made up their stories from the gods and goddess in eygpt. the pope doesnt worship jesus or mary, he worships the black madonna. thats a fact, the point being, he knows where the religion that socalled christians originated. there was no jesus, the story was taken from Horus, thats who Jesus was, and Jesus or Horus never died on any cross. they cannot prove any of the stories of the bible because they didnt exist, they are symbolic of eyptian mysteries. some of the masons know the real deal but are not gonna tell you.

[color=black][b]It is my understanding that Constantine started Catholicism circa 350 A.D. So, KG, is your position that there is no existing manuscript evidence of the Biblical Record consisting of 66 books prior to that time period?

[color=black][b] So are you taking the stance that Roman Catholicism is the foundation of so called "Christianity" as we know it today?

[color=black][b]I have heard the "Egyptian Copycat Theory", so can you provide word-for-word citations of original Egyptian texts that have stories similair or identical to that in the Bible? Not claims, but citations?
Also, are you implying that there are no accounts outside of the Bible by disciples & historians that were recorded regarding the existence & crucifixion of Jesus?

[color=black][b] Bill Schnoeblin, an ex-90th degree mason with documentation to prove it, might beg to differ.
KG, it is not my intention to be involved in an intellectual pissing match, but if you are going to make bold claims in the manner that you are communicating them, you need to back it up.

Until you know the power, you may think so.
I know the power of His name, thus, I know different.
I pray He shows you the truth.
Funny thing, a lot of people have been willing to die for this "made up story." You can brush it off if you want, but saying it ain't so don't change the truth.
Nor does it alter reality.
