Is The God of the Bible the Devil?

Is the Bible's God The Devil?

In this series we will be looking at this question first by stipulation, and then I am going to discuss the question of the early Christian Gnostic belief that the God of the Old Testament is the Devil.

NOTICE of STIPULATION BY TACIT PROCURATION (really the ancient rules of stipuli., Roman law as imposed upon us by Treaty with the Vatican [Treaty of Paris] which is better stated as The Roman Catholic Church Of God the Satan.)

It is stipulated that the Creator God is the One Almighty God who created all lesser gods, including the Devil. Therefore, the Devil and every other immortal entity is simply another Face of God.

I don't know how it could be any other way. Do you?

Sometime or other before this thread is concluded we'll be looking at some Sufi teachings that I found exceedingly helpful in understanding this perspective. I hope they'll be as useful to readers here, as well.

End stip.

[But they don't give us, notice, do they, on the stip...]

We have a convergence of two threads, essentially, at this point in time,

The Problem with the US Government;, and

The Problem is a Corrupted Bible.

We have one claiming that knowledge protects and another proclaiming that God requires us to use the best of our ability to know the truth if we expect to survive in a way we would desire.

The absolute laws of nature around us shows this to be true. Anyone with eyes to see will not argue that the laws of nature as they apply to living things revolve around whom is eating who. That law alone establishes the fact that knowledge must indeed protect!

REBUTTAL:

No. If you, hypothetically speaking, were capable of assimilating everything in creation, and you chose to utilize a hunk of clay to be transformed into a brass vessel, would that new brass vessel be an image or reflection of your 'face'. No-one has ever seen the 'face of God', therefore, your statement has no basis and no credibility, as you have totally insufficient evidence to substantiate your claim. If in fact you are attempting to make a claim to that effect.

By immortal entity I mean being. Like the Devil.

If the Devil is immortal, then, can God kill the Devil?

Can God kill God?

If God can not kill the Devil, then can we at least agree that the Devil is a Face of God?

Since satan and demons are fallen angels who used to serve the Father;True, but there must be another term besides Face of God.

And why "must" that be? Because it goes against the beliefs you were raised to believe?

The Devil is a real problems, isn't he. That pesky Devil, bless his heart, is ultimately responsible for my hunt for the truth.

I'll not claim I've found it. But, I can share with you all some of the research I've gathered.

The truth about our ultimate reality that can only be decided for yourselves.

We each are everyone of us responsible for our own decisions.

On that point, I'm fairly sure we all agree.

In the hypothetical scenario I presented; Can you as the maker/creator of the brazen vessel destroy the vessel upon any whim that you desire?

Of course you can. It is yours to do as you please. In the scenario you presented, exemplifying Satan as being 'immortal', you must also ask why he is declared to be immortal. Does that immortality reside under the authority of the Creator? Is NOT immortality itself a creation of the Creator? Does not the Creator have the authority to do as He/She/It (other gender/status added for the purpose of eliminating dispute in regard to what is believed by some to be without gender) fit?

The laws of physics tells us that without a positive and a negative force, there can be no creation.

I think it may [or, may not be] the Hindus that tell us about the duality of God and creation.

No matter.

This fits nicely with the subject of this thread. Perfectly.

Because I'll be concentrating on the early Gnostic Christian teachings.

And they tell us that the Devil actually believed that he was the Creator God when he created the physical universe!!

That's why they called him the blind god!!!!!

Exactly. So, What God can give, can He not take away?

It is yours to do as you please. In the scenario you presented, exemplifying Satan as being 'immortal', you must also ask why he is declared to be immortal.

Good question. Any ideas?

Does that immortality reside under the authority of the Creator?

Does it?

Or does that immortality reside with immortality itself, a condition upon being a part of the Creator?
Is NOT immortality itself a creation of the Creator?

Or is it a part of the state of being of the creator.

Does not the Creator have the authority to do as He/She/It (other gender/status added for the purpose of eliminating dispute in regard to what is believed by some to be without gender) fit?

Exactly. So.

Can God kill the Devil. If not, why not?

inserting meaningless phrase here thanks to the pesky message too short window.
