Oaths and the Bible
I hear a lot of people saying that the CONstitution, and USA law is based on the Bible. I have some questions:
Why would they ignore the Bible and have it's officers take an oath of office when the Bible says not to swear an oath? (see below)
Why did the so-called "founding fathers" even draft the CONstitution if they wanted the nation to follow the Bible?
Why do people call these guys the "founding fathers" when Jesus said in Matthew 23:9 "And call no [man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven" ?
There are a lot of questions we should be asking ourselves in these chaotic times.

5:33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's Throne:
5:35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
5:36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
5:37 But let your Yes, be yes; and your No, be no: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Here are some verses from the Koran as well:
Surah 24 - Light
24:53. They swear their strongest oaths by "I AM" that, if only thou wouldst command them, they would leave (their homes). Say: "Swear ye not; obedience is (more) reasonable; verily, "I AM" is well acquainted with all that ye do."
Surah 58 - She That Disputeth, The Pleading Woman
58:16. They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from The Way of "I AM". Therefore shall they have a humiliating Penalty.
Surah 63 - The Hypocrites
63:2. They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus they obstruct (men) from The Way of "I AM": truly EVIL are their deeds.
Surah 68 - The Pen
68:10. Heed not the type of despicable men,- ready with oaths,
68:11. A slanderer, going about with false reports,
68:12. (Habitually) hindering (all) good, transgressing beyond bounds, deep in sin,
68:13. Violent (and cruel),- with all that, base-born,-
68:14. Because he possesses wealth and (numerous) sons.
