Don't Forget Who Brought You This Far!

Good Morning,
On this day, January 19, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Wednesday! How are you doing this morning? Its a wonderful day to be a child of God. When was the last time you counted your blessings? When was the last time you sat and thought about the faithfulness of God in your life? When was the last time you thanked God for His present help in times of trouble? When was the last time you looked back over your life and realized God kept you through dangers seen and unseen? Many times in our lives, we become preoccupied with our daily agendas until we no longer have time (or make time) to spend with the Lord. When things in our lives were chaotic and shattered into pieces, we remained in the face of God. Every minute of every day we found ourselves going to God in prayer. Now that everything is going well, our consistency has diminished. We pray, but not as often. We thank God, but only when something miraculous occurs in our lives. The fire that once burned eternally, now flickers periodically. Have you been there? Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. While everything appears wonderful in your life, did you accomplish this task by yourself? While you are abundantly blessed, did you achieve this goal by yourself? My friend, Don't Forget Who Brought You This Far! The Bible declares in Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Just because family members, friends and co-workers applaud you each day, should not cause you to forget how you got where you are now. If the truth were told, you have made many mistakes that only God could free you from. You have gone places you should not, been with people you should not and did things you should not. In spite of it, the Lord rescued you from the snare of the enemy. Do not think you are above rebuke. If it had not been for the Lord on your side, you would have been swallowed up (Psalms 124:1-3). Be careful to never allow the cheers of man to lead you away from the presence of God. The Bible declares in Proverbs 16:18 - Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

My brother, my sister, Don't Forget Who Brought You This Far! It was not your nice salary, your wonderful spouse, your beautiful children, your awesome church, your big house or your never-ending wardrobe. It was the Lord who brought you to this point in your life. It was the Lord who put you in the position to receive the blessings you currently enjoy. It was the Lord who poured His favor upon your life. It was the Lord who looked beyond your faults and saw each of your needs. The Bible declares in Philippians 4:19 - But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Beloved, everything you have is because of God. Please do not deceive yourself. Please do not think you deserved all of the great things God has given you. To the contrary. We are recipients of God's blessings, only because Jesus gave His life in our place. Today, refocus yourself on the truth. The truth is, everything that happened to you that was good ... God did it. Don't Forget Who Brought You This Far! Prayer for Today: Father, help me to always be mindful of Your provision and protection. What I have is because of You. What I enjoy is because of You. Thank You for blessing me to bless others. In Jesus' name ... Amen!

Scripture Reading for Today: Psalms 124

May God Bless you at Your point of need!

To God Be The Glory!!
