Interesting quetion Weis. What brought it to mind, may I ask?

Of course, there is only One who is truly good. Do good intentions or good deeds make one good? Or, is goodness a quality or an attribute?

What perspective should we approach this from?

Does one's actions determine what one is?

or

Does what one 'is' determine their actions?

A simple yes or no to the question will do, with or without an explanation.

Would anyone reading this thread consider themselves to be a good person?

Yes, I would - at the very least, I strive to meet my definition of good.

Does anyone else in this forum consider themselves to be a good man or a good woman? It is not my intention for this to be a trick or a trap, I'm just curious

On the topic of basically good people........I found this link shocking...literally.

http://www.new-life.net/milgram.htm

Oh yeah, Of course I believe that I am a good man. If I believe it, it must be true. Although, I could be a latent sadist and not realize it.
