I'M ALWAYS CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE MEAN BY QUOTING FROM THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE AND NOT CALLING THAT RELIGIOUS DOGMA.

ISN'T THE BIBLE THE CENTERPOINT OF ALL CHRISTIANITY JUST LIKE THE QURAN IS THE CENTERPOINT OF ISLAM OR THE TORAH IS THE CENTERPOINT OF JUDAISM?

You worship kings: King James, the man who interpreted the Greek Bible incorrectly and King Constantine who in 325 declared that the shape of his sword (t) should be the symbol for Christians (not the crucifix T). He also set the precedence by immediately outlawing all other religions and he made Christianity the 'Official' religion.

In addition, you worship the men who concocted the Greek Bible and the many VERSIONS thereafter.

If you did not get knowledge about the so called Jesus through man's incompetence, from what source did you learn to be so unfree?

A person frozen in their belief and unwilling to explore the world and ask questions is unfree. IMHO They are wasting their precious lives. Consider the Moslem homocide bombers, do you think that they ever questioned their religious authorities?

Is not questioning authority the prime purpose of Suijuris?

All you have to do is face a single question to start:

What did Jesus sacrifice?

I GUESS SOME PEOPLE HERE ARE AFRAID TO QUESTION RELIGIOUS DOGMA.

I LIKE WHAT CARL SAGAN SAID:

"If we can't think for ourselves, if we're unwilling to question authority, then we're just putty in the hands of those in power. But if the citizens are educated and form their own opinions, then those in power work for us. In every country, we should be teaching our children the scientific method and the reasons for a Bill of Rights. With it comes a certain decency, humility and community spirit. In the demon-haunted world that we inhabit by virtue of being human, this may be all that stands between us and the enveloping darkness."

And I like what President Thomas Jefferson said in his Jefferson Bible when he deleted any Godlike powers to Jesus.
