Did Adam and Eve go to Heaven?
Did Adam and Eve go to Heaven?
Adam and Eve never met Jesus who was born after they died.
Since they could not accept Jesus, did they go to Heaven?

Let Me Guess . . .
O.K., with ole B.S. on the ignore list, I am guessing he is trying to set up some type of pissing match with no real intention at arriving at any point. He asks these questions, not so he can really be edified, but because he is probably some bored, crusty old man who has nothing better to do than hide out from his PMS/post menopausal nag in his computer den.
Don't waste your time with his garbage folks put him on the ignore list.'
I love it, I don't have to read his dribble, but at the same time, I can just bludgeon this sucker

DeJure,
It is fine that you put him on your ignore list, and it is fine that you don't like what he has to say. But, why do you continue to attack him? You continue to defend yourself against him and try to force your opinion onto others.
I don't necessarily agree with what he has to say, but I do not try to take away his rights or anything else for that matter.
This forum is open to all and has simple rules that fall more into common courtesy in my view. So if you don't like what he has to say, don't read it. But, please do not try and take away peoples choice or belittle the person.
Peace be with you.

DJ's post is no doubt an unnecessary ad hominem attack.
However Chuck you know Stu has no intention of really reasoning with anybody.
Do you really think he really wants to know the answer to that question he posted?
Do you think he is really interested in a biblical answer regarding that question?
Stu has demonstrated that he has no intention of really reasoning with anybody by his postings
The guy wants to talk about Adam & Eve, but refuses to admit that he is a sinner, although he admitted in previous threads to being a lying, thieving, adulterous, blasphemer at heart(just like all of mankind).
He says define "sin" and I did. However, he must think that because he never "murdered" anyone, he must not be too bad a guy.
The problem is, God views hatred or calling someone a fool just as bad as murder.
All I can hope is that Stu comes to the defining moment of belief in the midst of his games that he is playing with hiss eternal destiny

If you have an answer to my question, please state it.
Your passive/agressive attitude serves neither you nor others well.
Take your own advice as you stated above, and you might feel better.

God views (hatred or) calling someone a fool just as bad as murder.
Let me understand this remarkable statement.
If I were to call you 'fool' I should be put to death for murder?
If there was such a thing as a loving God who proclaimed that absurd notion, I for one would never accept it.

I agree with Chuck. Although I do not agree with Stu or believe he is interetsed in what Scripture has to say, I do not think we should spread gossip or anything that is untruthful. Attacking when it is unfounded is what the world does. Ignore him, but pray for him and that YHWH will reach him. Remember that none of us are without sin. We have all sinned and have fallen short of the glory of YHWH (Romans 3:23) The difference is that we are sinners saved by grace. Pray that he find that same saving grace that we have found.

I think that Stu is really seeking something. He aggravates me, so I have just quit trying to respond to his posts. I've just put him in God's hands and, and pray that God can find a way to reach this poor soul. But if I try to converse with him, then I get mad. I have to remind myself that his eternal soul is just as important to God as Weis's, Gregtu's' iamfree's and any other. So I have come to the point that the only thing I can keep doing for him is pray. I think somewhere deep inside he is really hoping someone can say something that may help him. He seems to haunt the religious forum. This is one of those times when God is teaching me how to love the unloveable- like Stu, Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, etc. They are just as loved and precious to the Lord as the best born-again believer that you can think of. Our Lord is so amazing in His love and mercy. And we as believer's have an amazing tool in that united in faith and prayer, mountains and hearts can be moved.

same question
Actually while driving home from work today, I was thinking the same question that BS posed. I didn't specifically think of Adam and Eve but all people in general.
Mine is really a 2 part question:
Where are all the people who died before Jesus came?
Where are all the people who have died after HE came who believed and those who didn't believe in HIM?
So far no one has responded to the original post.

DJ What is that about? Sounds a little like "some bored, crusty old man" to me and not very Christian. Why so defensive?
I find BS irritating at times and don't respond to or read all his posts. But what is more irritating is all the belittling and shouting back and forth from others.
Some food for thought re:BS
A person seeking truth/understanding
A person seeking confirmation of knowledge he already has
A person who wants or needs to present himself as superior to others
A person who just likes irritating others to see their responses
A person who challenges us to make us challenge ourselves
Sent here by the devil to cause turmoil, divide and conquer, pull us away from GOD
Sent here by GOD to push some buttons and test our faith, conviction and application of it
A person GOD loves
Asking a question does not necessarily mean questioning my belief only seeking deeper understanding.
GOD has given us people HE has chosen to minister to and teach us. HE must think we need them. If I knew everything and didn't have to ask any questions then I would be GOD and I know that I am only a humble person.
So could one of the ministers/teachers here lead me to the answers to my questions?
Thank you and GOD Bless all of us.

In answer to this question: "Where are all the people who died before Jesus came?" I think you need to look at Luke 16 where it talks about the account of Lazarus and the rich man. Before Christ came it is my belief based on what I have read from Scripture that Sheol (hell) was compartmentalized with a torment side and a comfort side. Thus, Lazarus went to the comfort side and the rich man the torment side. Now this compartmentalized Sheol or Hell was where those that died went before Yeshua came. Those that believed YHWH and were waiting on the Messiah went to the comfort side when they died and those that did not went to the torment side. Study this out and see if you do not come to the same conclusion based on YHWH's word.
In answer to this question: "Where are all the people who have died after HE came who believed and those who didn't believe in HIM?" If you look in Eph 4:8 the Scriptures say: "WHEN HE ASCENDED ON HIGH, HE LED CAPTIVE A HOST OF CAPTIVES." You see I believe when Yeshua died on the cross He descended into Hell and released those that were on the comfort side and took them with Him to heaven. See also Revelation 1:18: "I was dead, and now behold; I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades (Hell). This is the reason why I believe I Corinthians 15:54-57 says: "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY. O DEATH WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? OH DEATH WHERE IS YOUR STING? The sting of death is sin and the power of sin is the law;but thanks be to YHWH, who gives us the victory through our Lord Yeshua the Christ." For all of us that die that are believers now, it is my belief based on the writings of Paul that to be absent from the body means to be present with Yeshua. (See I Corinthians 5:6-8)
Hopefully as you study this in YHWh's word your questions will be answered.
