The flat Earth is established

Found on the NET.

The flat Earth is established and can never move?! The Sun hurries back to where it rises?!

"He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 104:5)"

"The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and is armed with strength. The world [The deceiving translators should've said "earth", not "world"] is firmly established; it cannot be moved. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 93:1)"

"Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns." The world [Again, the deceiving translators should've said "earth", not "world"] is firmly established, it cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 96:10)"

"The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises. (From the NIV Bible, Ecclesiastes 1:5)"

Well, I don't think there is any need for much explanation to the nonsense above! It is crystal clear that the Bible is full of man-made corruptions and alterations. Since when the Earth is flat and can never move?! We all know that the Earth and the other planets rotate and move in space around the Sun. Since when the Sun hurries back to where it rises, like if there is some hole it rises from and another hole it sets through on Earth?!

Not that you care, but I post this for others on this forum.

Psalm 104:5 NASB "He established the earth upon its foundations, So that it will not totter forever and ever."

Psalm 93:1 NASB "The LORD reigns. He is clothed with majesty; The LORD has clothed and girded Himself with strength; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved."

To this power it is owing that the world stands to this day. The world also is established; it was so at first, by the creating power of YHWH, when he founded it upon the seas; it is so still, by that providence which upholds all things and is a continued creation; it is so established that though he has hanged the earth upon nothing (Job 26:7) yet it cannot be moved.

Psalm 96;10 NASB "Say among the nations, 'The LORD reigns; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved; He will judge the peoples with equity."

This verse is not speaking of the world in the same way as 93:1. Again it has been misinterpreted and taken out of context. The world also shall be established, that it shall not be moved. The natural world shall be established. The standing of the world, and its stability, are owing to the mediation of Christ. Sin had given it a shock, and still threatens it; but Christ, as Redeemer, upholds all things, and preserves the course of nature. The world of mankind shall be established, shall be preserved, till all that belong to the election of grace are called in, though a guilty provoking world. The Christian religion, as far as it is embraced, shall establish states and kingdoms, and preserve good order among men. The church (body of Christ, that is beleivers) in the world shall be established, that it cannot be moved; for it is built upon a rock, and the gates of hell shall never prevail against it; it is a kingdom that cannot be shaken.

So once again here is Stu not understanding what Scripture is saying. He can keep trying to find error, but YHWH can not inspire error. 2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is inspired by YHWH and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;" v.17 "that the man of YHWH may be adequate, equiped for every good work."

Oh and I almost forgot Ecclesiastes 1:5 NASB "Also the sun rises and the sun sets; And hastening to its place rises there again." Please show me where the Bible is saying by this that the earth is flat. Only in your imagination.

FLAT EARTH!!

Isaiah 11:12
12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH. (KJV)

Revelation 7:1
1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. (KJV)

Job 38:13
13 That it might take hold of the ENDS OF THE EARTH, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? (KJV)

Jeremiah 16:19
19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ENDS OF THE EARTH, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. (KJV)

Daniel 4:11
11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the ENDS OF ALL THE EARTH: (KJV)

Matthew 4:8
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him ALL the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; (KJV)

How may see ALL if the Earth is not flat? 4 corners? FLATTTTT!

The Earth is slowing down in rotation and it wobbles in orbit.

I could respond to all this gibbersih, but I will not waste my time. Again you take the Scripture and put your own spin on it. How you get the earth is flat out of all that I will never know. Like I have said all along, you understand nothing about the writings of Scripture. What a waste of time you and your questions are. You are not looking for answers. You are looking for ways to distort. I cannot believe I have been sucked into this again. I should have known better. Won't happen again, I assure you.

LOL- We all get sucked in by this quicksand called BS. I've said over and over I won't get sucked in again, but his posts are so absurd, I feel like I will explode if I don't say something. Why is it that all the agitators on this site have the initials BS?- Bill Smith; Boyntonstu... I know that is all that spews forth from them!

If you could respond you would.

You cannot. The only thing you can do is to attack me.

If you had read the so called 'Bible' before anyone 'splained it 2u, u would have thought that the earth was flat and that it had 4 corners.

The so called Jesus prophesies explanations and reaches are more farfetched than inperpreting a round world with 4 corners.

Wirlwind,

He continues to spew his garbage. If he understood the meaning of what he quotes, he would know that it does not mean what he believes it does. I will not respond to him because it is pointless to do so. I wonder if BS and agent BS are related somehow. LOL

Noone KNOWS for certain that the earth reovlves around anthing. There's always the theory that places us on the inside of the earth, in which as you approach the 'center', you approach infinity. Thus you would be unable to see the opposite side, and the closer you get to the middle, the smaller/further things become.
