Lay Aside Religion and Develop A Relationship!

Good Morning,
On this day, September 12, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Monday! How are you doing this morning? Its a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever been tired in your body? For some reason you were experiencing extreme weariness. Things were going well at home, at the church, at the job, with your ministry, but you were still tired. You could not think of anything wrong in your life that would cause you to be drained, but you were. Have you ever had God interrupt your sleep because He wanted to talk with you but instead of getting up you layed in the bed? I use to think I had to use the restroom. I never thought to get on my knees and seek the Lord. I know better now. There are times and there will be times in our lives when the Lord will trouble our sleep in order to get our attention. Have you ever been there? Are you there now?

This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. When was the last time you spent one-on-one time with the Lord? When was the last time you sat still and listened to the voice of God? When was the last time you let go of your pride and cried out to the Lord? When was the last time you had a worship experience? So often in our lives we become accustom to traditions, religion and programs until we lose sight of relationship. Many times the weariness we experience in our body comes as a result of doing things on our own. My friend, Lay Aside Religion and Develop A Relationship! The Bible declares in Hebrews 12:1 - Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Do you realize many people know more about church protocol than they know about God?

My brother, my sister, it is time for us to lay aside our programs and submit to God's will. Some of the things we consistently do are not centered around the Lord but ourselves. Their designed for us to receive glory and applauds. The traditions we hold tight to have literally sucked many people dry. The Bible declares in Matthew 15:6 - And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Beloved, Lay Aside Religion and Develop A Relationship! God does not care what denomination you belong to. He does not care how large your church's membership is or how nice you dress on 1st Sunday. These things do not save souls or develop covenant relationships. Is what you are doing bringing any glory to the Lord? My Prayer for You Today: Father, I pray that my brother/sister will get to know you in a more intimate way. In the name of Jesus ... Amen!

Scripture Reading for Today: Philippians 3:10

May God Bless you at Your point of need!

To God Be The Glory!!
