Why not take the red pill of religion too?
I have had similar experiences in church. The thing that gets to me is how close minded "Christians" are. I had one paster tell me that I was wrong for questioning my government because it was appointed by God. I should do whatever my government says and not question anything. Maybe our Founding Fathers should have done the same thing. Maybe the Pilgrims should have stayed home.
What is my point? Well I guess I'm just venting really. I stopped going to church (I know the church is not the building) because it didn't measure up to what I was expecting it to be. I am still looking for one.
I tell you what though. If D. James Kennedy's, R.C. Sproll, or Ravi Zacharias' church was close by, I'd be there every service and then some. D. James Kennedy is the main one that echos my beliefs on keeping the govenment in it's place. That is the kind of Church I'm looking for.
