The Lord is your Shepherd
Good Afternoon,
On this day, August 24, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Tuesday! How are you doing this morning? It's a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever cried out loud but no one could hear you? The pain in your life was so horrible but no one seemed to notice. Have you ever prayed for assistance from one of your friends or family members? You wanted someone to come to your rescue. Have you ever felt as though the drama in your life would eventually take you out? Everyday brought a new test. Have you ever cried yourself to sleep and woke up the next morning still crying? For whatever reason, you could not stop crying. Have you ever been upset and did not know why? Are you walking around in a circle? Do you need direction for your life?
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. Many times in our lives we find ourselves walking and running in place. We often take the advice of our friends but it leads us in the wrong direction (at times). We call our parents, our spouses, our pastors for their opinions never understanding God has the answer. My friend, The Lord Is Your Shepherd! The Bible declares in Psalms 23:1 - The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. It is important for you to understand the role of a Shepherd. (According to Webster) A Shepherd is one who guides and guards His sheep against attacks. The Lord Is Your Shepherd! He is the One who makes sure the enemy cannot destroy us. The Bible declares in John 10:10-11 - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come th! at they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. It is the Lord who protects us from the tricks, traps and teases of the enemy.
My brother, my sister, what are you going through this morning? Is the wolf (enemy) attempting to enter your pasture? Have you wandered away from the Shepherd? Beloved, The Lord Is Your Shepherd! He is here to restore you back to the sheep-fold. There have been times when we have gone astray (Romans 3:23). There have been times when we thought we knew everything (Romans 1:28). But in spite of the sin you have committed, if you repent of your wrongdoing, God will place you back in position. The Bible declares in 1 Peter 2:25 - For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. The Lord Is Your Shepherd! No matter what lie the enemy (wolf) has whispered in your ears. Remember this, the wolf cannot enter the! pasture unless the Shepherd gives him permission. Prayer for Today: Father, you are the Shepherd of my life. I know you guide and guard me against every wolf (enemy) who attempts to devour me. Today, help me stay in the sheep-fold, in Jesus' name ... Amen!
Scripture Reading for Today: Luke 15:4-7
May God Bless you at Your point of need!
