Are You Ashamed of The Christ?
Good Morning,
On this day, December 21, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Wednesday! How are you doing this morning? Its a wonderful day to be a child of God. This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. My brother, my sister, as we draw near to the Christmas day celebration allow me to share something special with each of you. As you can tell there have been many debates surrounding the Merry Christmas. Many government entities, as well as prominent retailers have strayed away from using the phrase because they do not want to offend anyone. As a children of God we must not find ourselves feeling or being ashamed of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Bible declares in Mark 8:38 - Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Beloved as we draw near the day we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, allow no one to take away from you the privilege of declaring the Lord's name. You are a child of God. You are chosen by God Himself. You are not a mistake. You are purposed. Just because Wal-Mart refuses to say Merry Christmas does not mean we, as Christians, should change. My friend, Are You Ashamed of The Christ? Are you afraid to declare His glory wherever you go? Do you realize all you have is because of the Lord? If Jesus was never born, He could never die. Do you get it? His birth, produced His death, which produced rebirth for us. The Bible declares in Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Thought to Remember: If you do not stand for something, you will fall for anything.
