It Is Time To Grow Up!
Good Morning,
On this day, January 10, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Tuesday! How are you doing this morning? Its a wonderful day to be a child of God. So often I wonder if we as a children of God truly understand our spiritual rights. Sometimes the most depressed, oppressed, bound, people I meet are Christians. For some reason I have a heard time understanding how we can claim to be children of the Most High God but we allow someone's opinions about us to hinder our progress. There are people who feel there life is insignificant because someone told them it was. Do you realize the negativity you experience comes with this journey? Wherever Jesus went He faced those who desired for Him to remain and He faced those who despised and critiqued whatever He said. Since we strive daily to be Christ-like, we should expect the same treatment.
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. My friend, It Is Time To Grow Up! The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 13:11 - When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. Where the Lord has ordained for you to go in life can be hindered by your immaturity. Please understand what I am saying to you. Just because people applaud whatever you do does not mean you are effectively doing the will of God. Just because your inner circle will never say 'no' to you does not mean you are an effective leader. Just because you have three bank accounts does not make you a millionaire. There comes a time in each of our lives where we must come to ourselves and make a conscious decision to grow up (Luke 15:17).
My brother, my sister, do you realize no one wants to be married to a child? No one wants to play games with someone who is suppose to be grown. At some point in each of our lives, we need to put away our childish toys. Men do not play with toys, boys do. The Bible declares in Hebrews 5:12-14 - For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Beloved, It Is Time To Grow Up! How can God use you the way He desires if you keep running home for momma's permission? Today is your day of maturity!
