Do You Have A True Testimony?
Good Morning,
On this day, February 16, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Thursday! How are you doing this morning? Its a wonderful day to be a child of God. I often think about life and how we as a people deal with it. Everyday we are faced with challenges that some times we are not prepared for. Whether it is a negative phone call, a disturbing e-mail or a nasty co-worker, somehow we are challenged. When this happens to you, how do you deal with it? Are you quick to respond according to your flesh or do you rise up in Christian virtue? Since totally surrendering my life to the Lord, I have experienced several life threatening attacks. Attacks I thought would eventually kill me. During these attacks, I can testify, God has always intervened on my behalf. Never has He allowed me to breakdown. Can you relate?
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. I wonder if you have a testimony? I mean an undeniable confession of the goodness of Jesus Christ. You see there are people who have commercial testimonies - the truth is altered to sound good to the listeners -, then you have people who share the true, unaltered testimony. The Bible declares in Revelation 12:11 - And they overcame him (satan) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. My friend Do You Have A True Testimony? According to scripture, we overcome the devil and his imps by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and the words of our testimony. Meaning, if we refuse to open our mouths and share with others what Jesus has done for us, we live a partially defeated life.
My brother, my sister, are you ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Are you afraid of the comments people will have? Do you realize God saved you for a reason? You are not where you are just because you think people need you. PLEASE! God placed you where you are to be a blessing to others. The ultimate assignment for all Believers is to bring glory to the Lord. Beloved, Do You Have A True Testimony? Do you have something to share with others? Understand this, the thing you went through someone is currently going through. You now qualify to share with them what the Lord can and will do. Open your mouth and declare God's goodness. The Bible declares in Hebrews 11:5 - By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
