God is ... (everything you need and more! )
Good Morning,
On this day, April 11, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Tuesday! How are you doing this morning? Its a wonderful day to be a child of God. Today as I sat wondering what God wanted to me say to His people, many thoughts ran through my head. Thoughts of gratitude unto the Lord for all He has done, is doing and will continue to do for me and my family. Perfect I am not, but the Lord continues to be faithful to us. So often in our lives, we get discouraged, frustrated and overwhelmed with the cares of the world. We set out to have a great day, but somehow during the day something or someone has upset us. You go from pleasant and "blessed of the Lord," to angry and "God knows my heart." When we allow everything to detour us, we never realize it but it slows us down. God loves you. He knows how your day will unfold before you even awake to see it.
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and encourage you in the Lord. My friend, when everyone and everything seems unpredictable, God is unchanging (Hebrews 13:8). When you find yourself down and out, God is a comforter (John 14:26). When your friends are few and far between, God is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24). When your finances are "funny" (but you are not laughing), God is a provider (Deuteronomy 8:18). When your body is overtaken in sickness, God is a healer (Isaiah 53:5). When your marriage or relationship is chaotic, God is a peacemaker (Philippians 4:7). When your body gets weak and tired, God is your strength (2 Corinthians 12:9). When your life expectancy has diminished, God is a sustainer (Isaiah 38:5). When you have strayed away from the Lord, God is a forgiver (Luke 15:21,22).
My brother, my sister, what battle do you face today? What giant(s) are you up against? Who has attempted to destroy you? Who continues to set traps against you? Do you realize you are a child of the Most High God. There is no failure in you. The Bible declares in 2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Beloved, during your tough times in life, God is ... everything you need and more!
