Lord, Strengthen Me For This!
Good Morning,
On this day, May 15, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Monday! How are you doing this morning? Its a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever found yourself in the middle of a trying situation? No matter what you attempted to do, it appeared as if you would always be in the middle of this situation. Maybe you have two friends at odds and their determined to make you choose between the two of them. Maybe you are faced with an important financial decision that has you tossing and turning. Maybe you are experiencing a battle within your spirit. Your wrestling between your will (agenda) or God's will (purpose). Have you ever found yourself feeling overwhelmed by life and the things it throws at you? The more you try to get up, the more things are sent to press you down. Even today, you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. Have you ever been there? Are you there now?
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. How do you maintain when it appears the devil has an all-out assault against you? How do you keep pressing when family and friends continue to walk out on you? How do you strive ahead when you have to continue leaping over hurdles? In the words of my Pastor, "I'm glad you asked!" It is during these times in your life that you must truly lean and depend on the Lord Jesus Christ. Up to this point, you were trusting in your abilities, your education and your contacts. [Note: There will always come a time when who you know and what you know must be set aside.] My friend, at the point when you feel like breaking down, you must learn to say, "Lord, Strengthen Me For This!" The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 12:9 - And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness ...
My brother, my sister, what are you dealing with today? What you are stuck in the middle of this morning? Who are you trying to help this time (even though they do not appreciate you)? While I believe the enemy does attack the body of Christ, I also believe some attacks are not from him but self-imposed. There are some people you cannot help. Not because you are not qualified to help them, but because they do not want to be helped or they do not see a problem. Beloved, stop allowing yourself to keep being stepped on. Just because you are a Christian does not mean you should allow people to step on you. Understand, humility and meekness does not mean lay down and allow people to walk over you. If you have a problem saying no, just say, "Lord, Strengthen Me For This!" The Bible declares in Matthew 26:41 - Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Scripture Reading for Today: 1 Corinthians 1:25
May God Bless you at Your point of need!
To God Be The Glory!!
