What do you do ...
Good Morning,
On this day, May 30, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Monday! How are you doing this morning? Its a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever walked the floors through the night? There was so much on your mind that sleeping was secondary. Have you ever been beaten, battered and bruised by life's circumstances? Everywhere you went, someone was determined to destroy you. Have you ever suffered through troubles, heartaches and pains? From the outside all seems well, but within you are breaking down. There comes a time in our lives when our heart can no longer take it anymore. You have tried everything and everyone, but it all ended short of the goal. Have you been there? Are you there now?
This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. My friend, today you may find yourself in an unfamiliar position. Normally you are the one encouraging everyone. You are the one sending loving e-mails and heartfelt letters. Usually, you spend your evenings calling the sick and wounded. What do you do when the encourager now needs encouragement? What do you do when the outcome seems uncertain? What do you do when you feel victimized by life? What do you do when you find it difficult to minister to yourself? What do you do when the doctor returns with a report that puts your life on pause? What do you do when you have no money, but you work a job? What do you do when death has visited your family? The Bible declares in 1 Peter 5:7 - Cast all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. Dear friend, each day you live presents a different question to answer. But with every question, the answer remains the same ... God!
My brother, my sister, no matter what the situation looks like, God is still God. No matter how awful you feel, God is still on His throne. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. Life presents no test that God cannot pass. The Bible declares in Isaiah 46:9 - Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me. What do you do when life seems to overpower you? It is at that point in your life that you must trust and believe God is. What is He? He is whatever you want or need Him to be for you. The Bible declares in Psalms 46:10 - Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. No matter how impossible it appears, God can still do it (Luke 1:37). Thought to Remember: Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8).
