A Secret Place!
Good Morning,
On this day, August 25, this email comes to minister to you. Happy Friday! How are you doing this morning? It's a wonderful day to be a child of God. This morning, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. My brother, my sister, everyday we are faced with life's challenges. No matter how wonderful you think you are, trouble will knock on your door. Although the devil plots and plans his attacks against the children of God, life does not. Whether rich or poor, black or white, educated or uneducated, saved or unsaved, we all will have to overcome the challenges of life.
• Do you realize there are people on the other side of the country dealing what the same things you are dealing with?
• Do you realize there are people on your job, in your church, in your family, in your neighborhood who are experiencing the same storms you are?
• Do you realize there are people God has strategically placed in your life so you can shepherd them through their trial?
Child of God, as much as we want to act above everything and everyone, we all have our moments of distress and despair. We all have suffered at least one day where we wanted to throw in the towel. If you have not, keep getting up saying good morning (thank you Pastor Walker for this saying). According to Job 14:1 - Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble. My friend, it is during life's trying times that you must know how to find A Secret Place! There is a place where no matter what is going on around you can always experience the presence of our God. A place where you find refuge from life's stress and strains. The Bible declares in Psalms 91:1 - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Beloved, I know you love to help everyone else, but what about you? I know you love to give to everyone else, but what about you? I know you love to encourage everyone else, but what about you? I know you love to serve everyone else, but what about you? I know you love to please everyone else, but what about you? Where do you go when you need restoration? Where do you go when you need to be revived? Where do you go when you need your fire reignited? You need A Secret Place! The Bible declares in Matthew 6:6 - But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Allow me to close with this: When you are weak and weary, you are unable to aid others. Each of us must take time to be renewed by the Spirit of God.
