After they "bring back the rotary phone," perhaps "Casa D'Ice" should PETITION the UNUS District of Columbia to "enact legislation and implement regulation" to employ "Official English-only" translators (and cartographers) to very strictly police, regulate, enforce, and Anglicize
ALL (each and every single one), of the "non-English-only" "American" "foreign language" place names, such as "Florida, Colorado, Monta[ñ]a, Texas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Dakota, Hawaii, Kansas, Arkansas, Illinois, Ohio, Oklahoma, Wyoming, to name a very, very, very, few.
The same regulators of a very strict "English only Public Policy" also need to regulate the practices of "American" geologists in referring to geological formations according to legislated, and strictly regulated, and policed "English-only Public Policy" rather than foreign languages by regulating, policing, enforcing, and Anglicizing such references as caldera, mesa, butte, plateau, etc., as well as certain names of animals, foods, etc.
I suggest that the main emphasis should, perhaps, initially, most likely, concentrate upon the Anglicizing of Spanish/"Mexican" (most especially) and so-called "Native American"/"Injun" non-English words, and eradicating the foreign-ness, perhaps, much like the attempted eradication of the inhabitants of our land mass who inhabited it prior to the "English-only" "settlers'" arrival and totally lawful subsequent predominance.
(The French, German, Italian, Dutch etc., will also have to be dealt with.)
Apparently many recalcitrant "Mexican" "CAMEL JOCKEYS" in the part of "Mexico" formerly stretching from the Rio Grande to Montaña neglected to retreat to their own homeland south of the Rio Grande after their lawful conquest, much as the so-called "Native Americans" somehow neglected to retreat to their new "Tribal Homelands," and had to be "re-located" there.
Oh yeah, what about that "Casa" in "Casa D'Ice," and isn't that "D'Ice," itself, a bit suspect too?
In order to "PROCEED IN ENGLISH," as the producers of the "Excellent signage !!" obviously would have it, perhaps, as an object lesson in "
walk the walk," they might consider properly conforming by titling their "marquee" (oops, where are the "English-only" police?) "House of The Ice?"
