SPECIAL REPORT ON DARREN MICHAELS AND HOMESTEAD SERVICES OF FLORIDA
Darren Michaels is bad news. He owes the IRS lots of money. He is a self-proclaimed 'patriot' for all of the wrong reasons. He would not sign an agreement with us at Florida Homestead Services, LLC, to represent my company so we decided to not allow him to do business with us, especially after finding out what he was about...scamming and bravo sierra. Now, he actually has the nerve and steals our web pages, our company information, our displays and marketing information, web page and document text, intellectual property, copyrighted information and corporate forms, and he now masquerades as our company under a similar name. He has little or no knowledge of the law and actually is in deep trouble with the law.*

CONSUMER ALERT! FRAUDULENT COMPANY STEALS OUR WORK, OUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND MASQUERADES AS FLORIDA HOMESTEAD SERVICES, LLC UNDER ANOTHER NAME!
The State's Consumer Affairs Division warns consumers, and we warn the public, our valued clients, customers, and service agents to be wary if you happen to find "Homestead Services of Florida's" website or get an offer in the mail concerning the filing of a "homestead" by this scam company. This company boasts that they, "Homestead Services of Florida", are the " Official Site for Florida Homestead Protection, Declaration and Exemption - for services and forms" and offers to provide inferior services similar to those of Florida Homestead Services, LLC for a large fee, with no address, no corporate filings in Florida, when in fact they are thieves, as the proprietor, Mr. Darren Michaels, has stolen our intellectual property and our web pages and registered and copyrighted forms. Darren Michaels was involved in our company in the beginning and lived in Sarasota, then moved to Central Florida, until we found out about his 'patriot' background and the fact that he has been accused by the IRS of tax evasion (See here). Unfortunately, I have had to hire attorney's on behalf of the company and have had to send him a public notice, and a public notice to cease and desist, and also a notice of intent to sue.
We also filed this public notice in anticipation of this type of fraud and theft by Darren Michaels.
We will aggressively prosecute this person and any others who steal our work. All we ask is that you ask permission to utilize our work, which he did not. We have never denied anyone the use of our work for a legitimate purpose. We sincerely appologize to all here at SJ for this post but we thought it was appropriate to mention since we have been long time participants here at Sui Juris and feel that Mr. Michaels is a threat to the LRG/SJ community and the people of Florida.
