Canadian Plan of action?

Hi, I live in Winnipeg, MB, Canada and I just finished reading cracking the code 3 (I have a pdf of it if anyone would like) and I wanted to know if there was a corresponding guide/book that is specific to Canada. I plan on following cracking the code's model of creating a common law copyright of my name and then entering a financing statement in the personal property registry under the ppsa, but I am unsure of how to draft these so that they refer and are tailored to Canadian legislation and not USA legislation. Any suggestions?
