In a school zone?

If your goal was to arrive at your destination in the shortest time how did you do? How far were you going and how long did the traffic stop last? In the end analysis what was your average speed?

Does your car give you better mpg at 95 as opposed to 70?

What was the traffic density? Were you blowing past cars going the same direction every 10 seconds or every two minutes?

Was it a two lane road or a multi-lane limited access road or an interstate highway?

At 95 how far are you going to travel before your foot can even react to reach the brake?

He asked if I knew the speed limit.

I asked him what this was all about since even if he wrote me a ticket I would cream it in court and suppress all of his testimony with 40800CVC however I would waste thousands of state dollars first.

He asked what section I was refering to.

I said 40800 CVC.

He radioed it in. Listened to his radio... and told me to stay safe.

Real knowledge is power.

No ticket. (Again!)

Buy a car made this decade. Your car probably IS unsafe. Your conclusions on law certainly are not safe and sound.

(It was not in a box either.)

If your goal was to arrive at your destination in the shortest time how did you do?

Good. Made the trip in no time.

How far were you going and how long did the traffic stop last?

I was going about 90 miles. The traffic stop lasted about 4 minutes.

In the end analysis what was your average speed?

About 80-85. I had to slow it down in case he radioed to his friend who is in uniform down the road.

Does your car give you better mpg at 95 as opposed to 70?

Nope... Then again I make enough money that I do not even know how much gas costs.

What was the traffic density? Were you blowing past cars going the same direction every 10 seconds or every two minutes?

I was passing cars all the time. They were three lanes over (That is the slow lane.) Traffic density was light (Kind of like you faggy loafers.)

Was it a two lane road or a multi-lane limited access road or an interstate highway?

Ummm. Your question is presumptuous. There are two lane limited access highways. First there has been no engineer survey establishing the proper speed. However if you want to get in to this you stupid ass sure. I design freeways for a living. I know exactly how the freeway I drive on is built and have a copy of the as-built engineered plans at my office. I know what speeds the super-elevation curves can accommodate and what the appropriate stop distances are. I also know what distance of sight is required for stops and passing according to MATH and PHYSICS. I know these words are probably new to you. You rely want to know though so it was on INTERSTATE 80

At 95 how far are you going to travel before your foot can even react to reach the brake?

Again my car has cruise control. It is not a pile of crap as yours is. My foot is always ready to brake. However to answer you question… about 40 feet.

There you go. Oh yeah... and was stoned "out of my mind."

But let see here. If the 90 mile trip were made at 60 mph that would be 1-1/2 hrs. At 80 mph the trip took about 1-1/8.

60 mph = 90 minutes.

80 mph = 67.5 minutes.

Saved me 22.5 minutes there and hit about 90 coming back... so saved 30 minutes there. So I saved about 52.5 minutes. Thanks for asking.

Song Cycles - Lyrics by Greg Furlong

Way-o! Way-o!
Freeway is not the only way home!
Way! Oo-way-way-oo-way-way-oo...way-o
Freeway is not the only way home!

Freeway goes like a crow flies - straight
(Freeway is not the only way home!)
Bike route twist like a mean rattlesnake
(Freeway is not the only way home!)

Come traffic planners now, look at all the choices
(Freeway is not the only way home!) (repeat)

Take shank’s mare, wheelchair, three-speed bike
(Freeway is not the only way home!) (repeat)

A beautiful dream of town Nirvana
(Freeway is not the only way home!)
Mighty car park smog bonanza
(Freeway is not the only way home!)

Way-o! Way-o!
(Freeway is not the only way home!)
Way-oo-way, way-oo... way-o
(Freeway is not the only way home!)

So I guess this wasn't a success story after all. The sheriff deputy ended up making you slow down, by which act you recognized your own error (or was it just fear of another cop stop?).

Argumentative. There have been no questions asked concerning the PRICE of gas, only the consumption rate. As to how you print or coin your money, be careful of any admissions. Counterfeiting is a federal offense.

So everyone else on the road was traveling at a safer speed than you, correct?

Since your are basing your time savings on a base of 60 mph are your inferring that this would be the speed a responsible driver would travel?

However you have already indicated that your speed after the traffic stop on the return journey was slower than 90 mph yet you are crediting your time saving as if you had been driving 90 mph during the entire journey. Would you like to modify your testimony? I would think you would want to impress everyone on the forum with your accuracy as well as your honesty.

By the way, you have not bother to ask just what immutable law I was referring to. Despite your deplorable lack of curiousity for the sake of education of others I will describe it:

GIVEN THE FREQUENCY THE SEVERITY WILL FOLLOW

and to further assist your understanding and to put this rule in terms your intellect can follow, it means that risky behavior performed long or often enough will eventually catch up with you, simple probability.

To anyone who might object to my use of the term 'irresponsible'.

Quote:
AMENABLE. Responsible; subject to answer in a court of justice liable to punishment.

hence, not amenable is 'not subject to answer in a court of justice'. 'Not amenable' is 'not responsible' or irresponsible.

Quote:
ir·re·spon·si·ble
Pronunciation: "ir-i-'spän(t)-s&-b&l
Function: adjective
: not responsible: as a : not answerable to higher authority <an irresponsible dictatorship> b : said or done with no sense of responsibility <irresponsible accusations> c : lacking a sense of responsibility d : unable especially mentally or financially to bear responsibility

I submit that this phrase would fit Codee's actions perfectly.
