To all that remember

Hello everyone, lot's to tell. Any of the old timers here might remember this thread. I had to stop posting for a number of reasons that I won't go into.

Here in a nutshell is what happened. There was an all out attack on our group from the city with help from the local radio station.

The city administrator anonymously created a smearing hateful web site using Nazi, KKK and white supremacy etc and the local radio talk show host advertised it daily to attack our group and our candidates.

If you go to our web site www.valleycitycci.com you can find out some of what happened. Start on the Drake page, start at the bottom of that page and work your way up. Hope you can spend a little time there. While your at it take our poll with comments

Our group is growing and expanding. Still exciting times here.

Rory

Hello Rory, good to hear from you.
Yes, I remember your story from the beginning.
I'm glad to hear that things are still exciting. Keep in touch as I'm sure a few others would like to know how things are going.

Take care.

There are some professions that you do have to have a license to work because noone will hire you.

LICENSE, contracts. A right given by some competent authority to do an act, which without such authority would be illegal. The instrument or writing which secures this right, is also called a license. Vide Ayl. Parerg, 353; 15 Vin. Ab. 92; Ang. Wat. Co. 61, 85
Bouvier's Law Dictionary 1856 edition

If the nursing home fires you for failing to renew your license when legally you don't need one would be discrimination, would it not? I'm just a newbie to this thing so don't put no weight behind my words, but that is the angle I see that would best remedy your situation.

I would like to pose another question along the lines of the same issue.

I really need a job and the trade I'm best built for is seasonal, so I will have to find something around the way till summer hits. My friend just got into the labor union and though the union taxes his wages in the form of dues, he still does good for him and his. That would be a contract that I would swallow my pride on, but I would honor it because you aint gettin in without.
How does one get around the tax issue when applying for the job? I believe they would hire me so long as I can legally circumvent the IRS in the beginning. Is there certain forms that the receptionist should have or can I just show them the laws that show taxation is voluntary. Or is there a certain process one must undertake?
If you have the answer and are willing to share it, please do not delay cause my stomach has my spine up against the ropes and I tell ya, it aint lookin too good for the kid!!! Thanks

If you want to get anywhere with the masses you will have to speak their language. Nobody cares about your arguements. Be normal.

There are so many chances out there to work in your trade without employment or any other papers. And more chances still if you add in 1099 work.

1099 is an informational notice which may or may not be correct- you could deny it, or 'return to sender: person unknown'.

Many people just throw them away altogether.

I would sign everything like this

"w/o prejudice, all rights reserved"
"even-exchange secure transaction"
"redeemed for lawful money on demand"

On a w9 form on anything. On a bank slip, on an account application, on any contract anything you sign wehther it's relevant or not.

Keep no bank accounts in your name and redeem checks for cash in person, while this lasts.

But really, there are lots of people who will even-exchange swap for your property. Work with private
property, not income.
