Getting people involved is great.& If this first skirmish wakes the people in the community... then you have an opportunity to do even more as they become more informed in regards to the violations of their rights, the fraud and the truth about who is the ultimate authority.

Keep us informed.

Rory,

Now that is what I call taking the lead. As long as the public is on your side--you have remedy.

Re:Contractor's licenses??

We had another meeting last night and the turnout was great, we even had a former city commissoner there. We are getting our ducks in a row for the city wide meeting that we will be holding in a couple of weeks. Everyone that I have talked to is in support....I think this will be fun.

I'll keep you all up to date on our progress. To get&our country back it will take people at the local level gettting involved and this latest attack on our freedoms coming from our local officials has stirred the pot. They just took too big of a bite too quickly and I hope the frog feels the heat.

Re:Contractor's licenses??

When ever a city pass a new law or ordance this only covers the proprety the city owns not your proprety. You need to file with the city manager and city attorney. Choose your fight wisely.

File what? Elaborate a little on what you are talking about.

What is the job description of the&******** city commission?

Historically, towns people gathered to elect a group of their own to make sure the streets were maintained, trash was picked up, and to provide for police and fire protection. Only a few other duties were included in their job descriptions.

Currently our city commission is attempting to meddle in the affairs of individual citizens.

Examples of this are:
<DIR>
<DIR>

Requiring permission for individual citizens to work on their own property.

Requiring individual property owners to use only a city licensed worker to work on their project.

Enacting world regulations (2000 International Code) for the citizens to abide by.</DIR></DIR></FONT><FONT size=2>

</FONT><FONT size=5><FONT size=4>Most of the world's </FONT>people do not have, nor do they understand freedom and liberty. Why would we put ourselves under 2000 pages of International Code regulations? In fact many people from our area are off trying to secure freedom and liberty overseas. When they return home they will have less freedom than when they left for duty.

The latest action of OUR commission is a move in the wrong direction! In some communities in our land, councils have gone so far as to order their citizens not to park in their own driveways. It is time to pull the reins back on this city commission and direct their attention to their original job description. We need to remind them that the city commission exists merely to provide certain collective services to the people of&******** rather than to dominate the people.

The more the commission becomes involved in the a citizen's affairs the more it will cost us all <U>in loss of</U> <U>liberty, freedom and money</U>. If you are concerned about the direction our city is moving please join us Thursday, March 11th, 2004, at 7m in the High School cafeteria for an informational meeting/discussion. Please attend.

If so, there are no absolutes, and the only logical conclusion is that reality, truth, and right and wrong are determined arbitrarily on a daily basis by those with the most power, guns, and money, and the rest of us can choose to run, fight, or be their slaves.
