I had it notarized authenticating that I was who I said I was (the doc had my picture and under that,my name followed by Ohio state Citizen, date of birth and the state, county, city of my birth),then took it to the countyclerk of court to authenticate the notary, then sent it to the office of the Sec of State (my acceptance of the conditions) and they authenticated the clerk of courts and Apostilled my Letter of Ohio State Citizenship (fullfilling the offer). The one paragraph above my Picture read,
The Ohio Secretary of State, Ohio State, United States of America; hereby requests all who it may cocern, to permit his sovereign Ohio State Citizen named herein, to pass without hinderance and in case of need, to give all lawfull aid and protection.
I consider this a foooter to build a solid foundation on.

I am confused [nothing new however <grin>] You claim the Ohio SoS Apostilled your letter of citizenship, however in the header of your post you list North Carolina as your state. What are you indicating??..you live in N. C. but are a citizen of Ohio?....you are travelling thru N. C. when you penned this message?...something else??
Please clarify this, as I am gathering info for my apostille and need accurate information on which to base my actions.
FWIW in Illinois the Index department of the SoS agency deals with the apostilles.

Whether it was the Ohio or the N.C. SoS or whether he lives at North Carolina or Ohio really is immaterial to the application of apostille to the situation. For Illinois the apostille/authentication process is similar.

A bunch of people in Missouri put some bull**** in their letters like they were a diplomat or something, and now Missouri has either quit or is way more narrow in what they apostille

You best understand their intentions of THEIR codes.

How well do you understand 8 USC, 22USC, 28USC in regards to this?

What legislative acts do you understand regarding this?

Have you covered all bases regarding the Clauses of deceptive language in the 14thAmendment?

What evidence can you show that you are a National of your respective state?

How did this evidence amass?
What process(es) took place which could be demonstrated via documentation that the State(s) accepted your corrections of status records?

If one is going to deny being a resident of say... Texas. But you have a Texas driver license or a Texas state I.D. If you are stopped by authorities and they run the information on the apostille or w/e credentials you provide them and if they find a drivers license or state I.D. that cross-references then they may proceed to, for example, write a ticket. That is to allude to why it may do well to be thorough.

Interesting. To my knowledge, the role of a SoS is to authenticate the notaries and the county recorder not to verify the contents of the associated documents. Might be interesting to the basis of authority the SoS would have had to restrict what is being apostilled.

Either way, whether they have it or not, filing docs w/wild and wooly theory, absent anything substantive raises red flags and then makes it tough on people who have a well researched process which already has proven results w/different folks

Sorry for coming off uptight, but it took me 5 counties to get my docs recorded mostly because people get such crap recorded which then fuels the fire for recalcitrant clerks.

Most of them already are mind control robots plugged into the STATRIX (wow!new one! I get first claim on that one) who are afraid of losing their jobs.

When The State Atty gets wind of some of the giberrish that's being recorded, they make it tough to even get legit docs recorded such as certain affidavits which even THEIR statutes authorize (In Florida at least)
