Newbie Day in Court
Recently I was pulled over for faliure to obey a traffic sign. I have been studying UCC and laws , common law etc. before I stumble on to you wonderful guys and gals. So I went to court after I continue to study common law and ucc, and go advice from&My mentor and I also listen to George Gordon.& So I am in court Prince william, VA
Judge says Mr. Sitton you were fined disobeying a traffic sign how do you plead.
I was nervous as h-LL. He ask again Mr. Sitton blah blah do you understand the charges.
I dug deep wanted to crak under pressure like a championship game but I gain my composure and
Replied(me): I do not understand the charges
judge: what do you do not understand where you driving this vehicle disobeying a traffic sign.
me: I said No sir I was traveling freely controling my locomotive
judge: Look at prosecuter grind and said I will not have that in my court room watch& your self or I will find you in contempt.(meaning in Traffic court they dont even attempt to notice the constitution/common law rights) How do you plead
me: I can not make that legal determination I do not understand the charges
judge: looks at prosecuter (grinds) Ok Mr. Sitton here is one break for you what do you dont understand.
me: I dont understand the letter of the law
judge: He said Mr. Sitton dont play games with me this is your last warning.
( I figure he knew I was trying to box him in)
judge: Do you have a Driver liscense. Are you liscence to drive( he turns to the pros grinds again) (trick question)
Me: I was not transporting any passengers or cargo etc When Officer ---- illegally&siege,&interogated, and harrass&me while I was Traveling freely controling my locomotive.( I am sweating bad right now)
judge: screams Mr Sitton well I find you& guilty and contempt of court if you dont answer my question
me: sweating like h-ll people looking amaze at me like I am super Hero. Prosecuter looks down at my citation reads what I wrote under my signature and says.
Pros: Judge I think Mr. Sitton really do not understand the charges brought up against him look how he has&sign his name.
all this time I was setting them up just to prove to them that someone understood the law and if it felled I would ve just use the signature(but pros must be a member he knew my plan to save the judge and court from shame)
Judge: Officer did you reckonise Mr. Sitton signature
Officer: Well i didnt care How he sign it as long as his name was there.
Judge: (sits back thinks) Mr Sitton what do this mean
Me: I stated without prejudice ucc-1-207 blahblah
judge: (thinking hard) Well Mr Sitton your a strange man, Prosecuter what do you suggest.
Pros: Well we will let this one slide this time Mr Sitton can go home and Travel Freely
Judge: (looks at me) and say I dont want to see you in my court room again.
THE END
well I hate to drag that but I was Nervous as h-ll I think i lost 20 pounds in that court room.
But I was really trying to get the Judge to say what Juristiction the court is under on record. They will not admit it or if you box them in they will simply let you go. Always sign any document without prejudice ucc 1-207 and study it b/c he will ask you. I went to DMV and resign my signature.

Re:Newbie Day in Court
That is very good, I always laugh when I read these reports from the field.
You can also write "Under Duress" above your signature... it can never hurt.
I am moving this to the success stories - you did good hakeem!

Sui Juris

Re:Newbie Day in Court
haKEEM,
Sounds like you did great- sweat and all.& When the judge said something about finding you in contempt, you could have used the comeback that some one suggested in one of the threads here-would that be civil or criminal contempt?
Way to go.& Keep up the good work.

Re:Newbie Day in Court
Whenever one finds oneself before a court that levels the contempt threat, all one may have to do is claim:
"I do not mean to be held in a contemptous behavior judge, but I simply do not feign/pretend to understand the charge(s)"
Works like a charm everytime!

Re:Newbie Day in Court
hakeem,
My highest congrats!!!!
Yes, court is an intimidating place. It's ment to be.
Don't think for one minute that at least some of your audience didn't take note of what you did. They may not have understood it but if it got their gears turning even a little bit, you did them a great service.

hAKEEM
When you said "I went to DMV and resign my signature." what does that mean?& Did you feign a lost drivers license and get&a new one with you adding "Without Prejudice UCC-1" under your& signature?
