Motion Granted

I am happy to report that a motion I helped a good friend to draft was approved by the federal judge today.

The motion was for early termination of "supervised release". The "defendant" had another 2 1/2 years to go, so as you can imagine, is quite happy to be released early!

I guess all in all, this is not all that impressive as these motions are likely granted every week. But, when "defendant" spoke with a lawyer re the fees to file said motion, the cost would have been $2,500!

Of course "defendent's" only cost incurred by doing everything sui juris have been the notary and postage fees.

And no, I did not give any legal advise to "defendant".

If so, there are no absolutes, and the only logical conclusion is that reality, truth, and right and wrong are determined arbitrarily on a daily basis by those with the most power, guns, and money, and the rest of us can choose to run, fight, or be their slaves.

Yes, the lesson to be learned here is that anyone with a decent understanding of the English language, courtroom procedure, and the law(s) in question will not need an attorney.

And that alone should be reason enought to commit one's self to becoming sui juris.
