1099r
Got a question. Been reading CTC by Pete Hendrickson.
He mentions 1099's but not 1099R forms.
I know no one can give legal advice but what would be your take on this. I use to be an Air Reserve Technician in the Air Force Reserves. Back in 99 I was medically disqualified from the Reserves therefore losing my federal civil service position, WG-10. I have been receiving disability retirement from the government. The pay actually comes out of Boyer's Pennsylvania not any United States Territory. Since I am not a government employee anymore does anyone have any ideas if this would be taxable. I have filed amended returns for the past 3 years a month ago and haven't heard anything yet. I didn't claim this because I am a former employee.
On "The Lost Horizons" website there's a lot of people filing amended returns and getting every dime they paid in. A 1040X and 4852 form for W-2 corrections. Any ideas or chit chat would be appreciative
