Post Irs And Tax Id, Ein

Recently a friend was trying to get a TAX ID,EIN for his new corporation, I told him to all way sign all rights reseved after his name. He filled a ss44 form signed "all right reserved. Operator asked him why he signed like this and told him it may open up a can of worms. They told him it may be months before he recieves it. However told him to go online and apply and he could get it today. Hes scared I told him something wrong. Can anyone resond why they hate this so much.

Rights reserves, no recourse, not an accommodation, UCC bla, bla, bla... these things say that you do not recognize yourself as a corporation. Commerce operates in Maritime/Admiralty Law in where corporations can only deal with other corporations hence the distinction of John Doe from JOHN DOE. If you are claiming on any contract that you are John Doe, not JOHN DOE chances are it will pop some red flairs somewhere because the corporation licensed to operate in the state/s can not deal with John Doe, but JOHN DOE.
