That seems the issue. I would gather that by no withholdings you have either declared exemption or have somehow taken full responsibility for paying income tax at the end of the tax year (April 15). Or maybe you are redeeming lawful money like in my video?
Since SS is voluntary - and especially like with me you may have already earned entitlement - you may have already paid into SS for more than 10 years already. So even in anticipation of SS benefits, you are not required to keep paying in. Since SS is voluntary, this sounds morelike a conditioning by your employer.
I remember a case mentioned in the video where the Supreme Court has ruled that participation in SS means you are subject to the Internal Revenue Code. I looked up that case and it looks true. I did not study it because I do not participate in SS. But at a glance it looks like that is right. Also I have been told here that simply filling out a W-4 or even being notified and rejecting the Withholdings offer like that ... that is your consent to be paid in private credit.

If you want to get rid of your SSN (even if you might be using it as intended later) quit saying it and writing it down. If you understand it well enough to explain that to your employer's attorney, fine. Otherwise you are dealing with conditioning. Belief sets are the highest addiction. I have been banished from Quatloos yet somehow I am managing to still write there...

Yes, Florida, we all know he is crazy as a loon. But since he refuses to get help, that makes him fair game for ridicule in my mind.
