Tom Cryer

I know most here arent fans of attorneys but Larry Becrafts closing arguments in his case are pretty cool. Also the Pro-IRS people are stating that he is still liable for the extortion and the IRS will still try to take his money, is this correct?

Check out the closing arguments around page 70

Yup, most of these IRS "wins" are dismissals from CRIMINAL charges.

This does not stop them coming after you "civilly" by sending fraudulent "notices" of lien/levy and having ignorant clerks/employers/bankers honor them and fork over the money or lien you up

God forbid if you have anything in your name when they are coming after you

The best thing to do before the tango with the IRS is to get all of your stuff in trust w/LLC's and try to get paid under the table somehow

If you try to convey the stuff in the midst of an action, they can hit you with a fraudulent conveyance

It is not enough to get one's financial house in order. The armory should be readied as well.

kinda tough to use offensive tactics when the IRS agents employ nom de guerre on a regular basis. Is there any case law where the IRS had to pay damages to anyone for their actions??? Seems to me weis is right.....you beat the criminal rap then they ransack you civilly or you go broke defending yourself. Only winners are the damn lawyers.

To win it seems you have to employ a scorched earth policy
