Talking Interesting Find in the AMDISAs

Received my AMDISA back and it was interesting to see that the "powers to be" have stated in the letter that I have "Refused to File" (interesting concept, since I have documentation showing what I have done) but they had some interesting little codes on it also.

One code had my Activity Code listed as a person involved in an Exempt Organization, Government Entity or a Federal Employee.

A validation code directing the account to the invalid segment, a justification code telling the computer to treat the account as valid.

The next code was a transaction code saying data is posted to an account that has an incorrect TIN.

The last and really fun code (I really like this one) the type of transcript says a filed return for the Virgin Islands and it is appearing that all my filings in the past were actually made to a foreign jurisdiction. (Interesting concept considering I have NEVER set foot NEAR the Virgin Islands) hahahahaha

I can't wait to see the explanation they will offer for these things........ (I won't be holding my breath for a response though)

Ken G mentions the Virgin Islands in his IRS class. He says that the 1040 form is the form to be used in the Virgin Islands so anybody who files a 1040 will have references to the Virgin Islands in their IMF or AMDISA.

Next, I am hearing that people are not being allowed to enter their corrected IMF as evidence in court. Any experience with this?

I'm thinking that correcting your IMF should stop the computer from generating notices to you. What have been your experiences in this area?

Good Luck

The individual that has read and is handling my IMF and AMDISA does have a good success rate. It just takes time to swim through the entire process. Hopefully, I am finally on the final leg of this once I get all these letters mailed and will hopefully be ready for the next step.

So far, they aren't responding and they aren't correcting anything. The plus side to it all is that if we get to the finish line, they will be paying me big bucks :O)

If the IMF is truly correct, you don't have to file and should never hear from them unless you fall into a category that is required to file.

I have heard of instances where they are stopping folks from introducing the IMF as evidence but I believe there is a way to tiptoe around this when you have an agent of the agency and questioning them about it directly. I'm not sure if folks are being barred from even presenting that information.

Don't expect payouts from them as this would most likely lead to the flood gate getting opened.

They've left me alone for 16 years, and I'm sure it was partly due to my never enabling my account with a return. However, an agent could manually change it if they found a reason. I believe this could be fraud though, if you didn't do anything to change it yourself.
