Letter 1058

Has anybody got SEDM's 1058 or 504 response letter? I'm willing to swap a killer $50 document for it.

Nope, but you might want to check out the FTB success thread to get to the downloads and get the letter Rogatory that warns the tax collector about the limited scope of who they can levy. You'll also want to inform your employer about the IRS's limited levy ability (they can only levy federal employees), and the Williamson VS Boulder Dam Credit Union, and O'Dell, etc, about needing a court order.

You should probably have already closed your bank account in your name and have tried to get property out of your name, if possible.

Interesting, just got two more CP504's today, one for '01 and one for '02. Although I do have the SEDM response letter for the CP504 (not too sure about the 1058, I'd have to look) using them doesn't seem to matter. Just checked, I do have the 1058 also.

The SEDM response letters are really good, but the only problem is that they (the IRS) tend to ignore everything you send them.

Where I am right now is just waiting for the Notice of Levy for the year '00 to get to the place where I earn my living so they can steal from me again. Right now I have no idea what to do, as I said, they won't even consider anything I send them.

I have other things to do right now, so I can wait a bit before responding to these latest peices of hate mail. I might try changing my tactics a bit, but will have to figure out how a bit later.

I am looking into a possible approach to this this week. It is pretty code-intensive, so I am a little wary, but it seems worth checking out due to it mainly focusing on agency law and forcing them to comply instead of me being presumed to have to perform. I'll let y'allknow what's up.
