I'm an x-union bricklayer and tax payer contemplating and researching how to deal with this coming years tax chioce.I've been working for cash all year but very shortly I will be contract labor and probably 1099ed.I have thouhgt about buying a stamp to use when endorsing pay checks (FRNs ain't money,ARR) and then not filing anything sent to me.I better move to the tax threads before I get to going.Good Day Folks ;-)

Irs
Lets just say I'm working on it. I still pay taxes and of course I get whacked every year being single and with no kids, you do the math. The only thing I do now is try to claim as many exemptions as possible.

I won't say anything specific, but this is the basics.
1. Working on becoming a lawful non-taxpayer.
2. Utilizing every legal means available to not pay taxes to anyone (tax avoidance is not tax evasion). Under the right circumstances, you can almost pay nothing in taxes without risking anything, but it takes some work.
3. Keeping my affairs and identity off the grid as much as possible. Money is not in a bank. Slowly accumulating goods of barter value for the day when paper money is not good for anything at all.
By definition, I avoid registering anything or getting any licenses if I don't have to. Even with IRS and state tax forms, if I can see a way to say I don't have to file a form, I will write a letter from the company asking if I MUST file the form or not. If they don't reply, I highlight the part of the instructions indicating that I don't have to file the form and save it for company records.
Most people just do stuff because they are told to...not because it's required.

Job Opening
I play bass, and have a digital recording studio. Its a hobby.
Lets get Weis, and the banjo player dude, find a drummer (5201?), and make a CD.
We can call it Sui Juris and the Moderators
I can see it now. Some of our better song titles:
"I loved her till she got a license."
"Don't gimme no romance-Just gimme some facts"
"Administration Breakdown"
"The 1040 Blues"
"Who's Your STRAWMAN Now, Baby"
1500 sui juris members and a special suijuris rate of 10 bucks a CD- do the math.
Gimme a big YEEEEEEEEEEHAA.
